HYLA
Privacy Policy
Effective 13 July 2026
This policy explains what personal information HYLA collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately simple, because we collect only what running your booking requires.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Hyla Ltd, based in Kigali, Rwanda, is responsible for the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact divine@hyla.makeup or 0789 290 078.
2. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and phone number.
- Booking details — the services you book, event dates and times, and the pricing for your booking.
- Health & allergy information — what you choose to share on the intake form so we can use suitable products.
- Your signature — the signature you draw or type when you sign an agreement, together with the date it was signed, kept as a record that the agreement was agreed.
- Payment records — the deposits and payments recorded against your booking. We do not store full card details on the website.
- Basic technical information — ordinary server logs needed to keep the site secure and working.
3. Why we use it
We use your information only to:
- set up and manage your account;
- arrange, confirm and deliver your booking;
- prepare your agreement and record your signature;
- take and track your deposit and balance;
- contact you about your booking; and
- keep the service secure and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
4. Cookies
The website sets one strictly-necessary cookie, which keeps you signed in while you use your account. It is essential for the site to work, so it is not something you opt out of. We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and we load no third-party trackers. There is more on this on our Privacy Settings page.
5. Who we share it with
We keep your information within HYLA and share it only where necessary to run the service: with the providers that host and secure our website and database, and with a payment provider when you make a payment. We may also share information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your information, and there are no advertising or analytics companies involved.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have a booking or account with us, and afterwards only as long as needed for our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. A signed agreement is kept as a record of what was agreed. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
7. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- see the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it; and
- close your account.
To make any of these requests, email divine@hyla.makeup. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. How we protect it
We take security seriously: connections to the website are encrypted, passwords are stored in a hashed form we cannot read, and access to your information is limited to what is needed to run your booking. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your information safe.
9. Children
The website is intended for adults arranging makeup services and is not directed at children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
11. Contact
